1) Housing problems
urbanization attracts people to move from rural areas to urban areas. With an increase in population and more number of people living in Unban towns and cities, there is a scarcity of houses.
2)Overcrowding- it's a situation whereby more people in live small spaces. This causes congestion and this keeps increasing day by day as more people migrate from underdeveloped rural areas to urban, developed towns to search for a better lifestyle.
3)Unemployment- The problem of joblessness is the highest in urban areas. Even though the income is high the cost of living is even higher. The main cause of unemplyment is due to the relocation of people from rural areas to urban cities as the jobs avaible tend to be lesser than the people living in the urban town.
4) Sanitation of food and Water(Problems)- inadequate seweage facilities . The governments and the municipilities are faced with serious resource crises and management of sewage systems becomes difficult. As a result, sanitation becomes poor and the sewage water flows chaotically and is drained into rivers, and freshwater lakes. Furthermore overcrowding; also results in water scarcity as the supply falls short of demand.
