Orphan is a 2009 movie that tells the story of Kate and John Coleman (played by Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard), a pair who resolve to add to their household by adopting a nine-year-old girl named Esther. At first, their new daughter looks as if a perfect match, but her unusual ribbons and mysterious Russian background rapidly raise suspicions, as does her especial fondness for her father. The couple is pressured to rethink their choice when Esther starts turning into a vicious killer and threatening their lives.
Despite its schlocky blunderbuss type, Orphan managed to pique viewers' curiosity because of the originality of its idea, which is that the protagonist is not a toddler but a girl in her early 30s masquerading as a child. It also received appreciable reward for its psychological characterizations and Isabelle Fuhrman's robust efficiency because the devilish orphan.

The time period "orphan film" was coined in the Nineties by archivists who noted the existence of movement footage in archives that haven't been legally acquired. Since then, the concept of orphan movies has broadened to include any movement image that is no longer being actively preserved by its legal owner. The scholarly area of media research has responded to this phenomenon by creating the idea of orphan movie as a central part of its historiography and pedagogy, and by calling for increased cooperation between moving image archivists and scholars to be able to protect these "orphaned" works.
The first Treasures from American Film Archives DVD set compiled excerpts from a variety of orphaned genres, together with silent, novice, experimental, and authorities movies. Farnsworth 2001 provides a helpful introduction to the topic, and Streible 2007 examines the difficulty from a revisionist perspective. Campt 2012 supplies a thoughtful interpretive meditation on the orphan movie metaphor, while Frick 2008 discusses the cultural significance of orphaned media artifacts. ดูซีรี่ย์จีนพากย์ไทย of these pieces highlight the significance of orphan movies in our nationwide heritage.
