Daha önce Firefox 5 Final Sürümü Yayında adlı yazımızda Firefox tarayıcısının 5.sürümünün çıktığını söylemiştik.
CHIP Online, Firefox tarayıcısına geçmek için 5 sebep yayınlamış.
1. Gizliliğinize önem veriyor: ‘Beni izleme’ özelliği ile web sitelerine davranışlarımızı izlememesine yönelik bir istek gönderebiliyorduk. Şimdi ise bu ayarı bulmak daha kolay. Bunun yanında Android için sunulan Firefox da Do Not Track özelliğini artık destekliyor.

4. 1.000 geliştirmeyi üzerinde barındırıyor: Çok büyük olmasa da Firefox 5′de 1.000′in üzerinde geliştirme bulunuyor ve tarayıcıyı daha iyi bir hale getiriyor.
5. Güvenli, bağımsız: Firefox’un açık kaynak kodlu olması sadece kullanıcıların yardımıyla geliştirildiği değil, aynı zamanda kullanıcılar tarafından yakın bir şekilde takip edilerek iyileştirildiği anlamına da geliyor. Mozilla bağımsız bir kurum olduğundan Microsoft ve Google gibi şirketlerin onunla rekabet etmesi zor.
