Overuse of Underground Water

-aquifers are destriyed when used to much

-water is being used twice as fast then being replaced





Overuse of River Water

-rivers are dry

-rivers are running out of water





Fresh water can be conserved.

The Need for Conservation
-aquifers are being used up more than it can be replaced
-if people can use less water now they have more water in the futures
-if people keep using water then there will be no more
-This means that there will be 2.8 billion people without water

-people can conserve water in three different ways
-recycle water
-reuse water
-use less water

Farms
-they can use drop irrigation instead of spraying water

industry
-use twice before returning back to river


Homes
-people can use less water
- lower the shower water or use

people can balance water and uses
- Develpoping contries need water to prevent diseases
-as water gets scarcer arguements get more serious

- cities around rio grande is growing and the cities need more water from rio grande to live
