Elder T.E Oyakhilome was his father and was one of the founding members of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. His son Pastor Chris was greatly influenced by his father. Growing in a Christian family is an amazing blessing.

Tim Oyakhilome and Angelina had two additional children. Pastor Chris's brother Ken is affectionately known as Reverend Ken. As a revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston branch, Texas, he has shared many wisdoms and has made a positive impact on the lives of many. Katty Worghiren (pastor Chris's sister) is director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty Worghiren was an early member of the choir. Her songwriting skills have been the inspiration behind some of the most well-known LoveWorld songs. She is the writer of "I Believe In Nigeria" the anthem.

Pastor Chris In composing the last and poignant paragraph of the Believers LoveWorld Anthem, Katty is able to include this message in order to highlight the importance of the Christian family:

Many of the members of Christ Embassy are aware that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome considers Christ Embassy a family. The involvement of his family in the ministry, mission, and gospel of Jesus Christ is truly inspiring. As 1 Timothy 5: 1-2 recounts:

"Treat younger men like you would your own brother, and treat older women the same way you would treat your mother. Treat younger women in the same manner that you give your sister. "

Two Outstanding Daughters

Pastor Chris and Anita had two beautiful daughters during their union. Even though Chris and Anita, his ex-wife, might have decided to break up their marriage, the couple remain in love with their daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. They live together now in London.

Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon is now a rising gospel star. Inspired by her father's lessons, she has written the award-winning "Holy Spirit" song to show testimony to her deep Christian faith. She is also an inspiring leader for the Global Youth Leaders Forum.

Phillip Frimpong and her recent wedding were some of the most beautiful weddings photos of Africa. In an emotional Instagram blog post, she captured her love.

"YES! I am engaged my best friend. The most amazing and my most beloved person...I'm extremely fortunate I would choose to marry her. ."


The wedding was gorgeous and important. Charlene was her chief bridesmaid. It's impossible not to be moved by Pastor Chris Oyakhilomes love.

More Talented Family Members

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Nephew Dayman Oyakhilome Woghiren is among the leaders of Africa's emerging generation. He utilizes his expertise to encourage young people to be encouraged by the Word. As a businessman and chief executive officer of Carel Films Enterprise, he is able to spread the Good News using modern communication methods. He is in charge of the production of over 100 Christian music videos and animated films such as "I Know Who I Am" by Sinach, "Kinging" by Rozey, "Igbunu" by Micheal Jaffe, "Untouchable" by TB1 and many more.

Pastor Chris Family He was just 20 when he was awarded the American Academy of Animations Award for the third time. He also won the of the famous Walt Disney Award, and a nominee for the Future African Leaders Award FALA. His true genius lies in making others' genius shine bright.
