What the role entails.

As a freelance/intern TikTok video creator, you will work with a team of fellow content creators, using the video medium to entertain, engage and inform our audiences on emerging platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube shorts.

This is a short-term contract position, with the option of extending to a full-time role.

Be in the thick of content on social media platforms 24/7.

Quickly spot news stories/topics that are trending and pitch them to the team leads.

Actively think of creative ways to convert news into short form video content.

Edit videos in a timely manner.

Ability to commit for a 3-6 month period from February 2024.

Proficient in Canva.

Basic video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or InShot.

Excellent news sense and has a good grasp of trending topics of the day.

Firm understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms.

Crucially, you must possess the mental stamina, tenacity, and agility to work in an intensely dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive media environment.
