Title: "The Crying Stone"
Story:
Once upon a time, in a small village in West Kalimantan, there lived a poor widow with her only daughter. The daughter was very beautiful but had a bad attitude. She was very lazy and never helped her mother with the household chores. She also had a habit of demanding expensive things from her mother, despite their poverty.

One day, the daughter insisted that her mother buy her new clothes. Feeling sorry for her daughter, the mother went to the market and bought a dress with the little money she had. On their way home, they had to pass through a village where the people knew them. The daughter felt ashamed of her poor mother and asked her mother to walk behind her so that people would not think they were related.

As they walked, the mother stumbled and fell, and the daughter shouted angrily at her. The villagers were shocked by the daughter's behavior. The mother, heartbroken, prayed to God to punish her daughter. Suddenly, the sky turned dark, and thunder rumbled. The daughter began to feel strange and noticed her feet turning to stone. She begged her mother for forgiveness, but it was too late. Her whole body turned to stone, and she remained there as a crying stone.

Orientation:
This folktale takes place in a small village in West Kalimantan, focusing on a poor widow and her beautiful but ungrateful daughter. The daughter’s vanity and lack of respect for her mother set the stage for the unfolding events.

Conflict:
The main conflict arises from the daughter’s disrespect and shame towards her mother. Despite their poverty, the daughter constantly demands expensive things and feels ashamed to be seen with her mother.

Complication:
The complication occurs when the mother, trying to please her daughter, buys her a new dress. On their way home, the daughter’s behavior worsens as she forces her mother to walk behind her, leading to an outburst of anger and public humiliation.

Resolution:
