From Hell (2001) Movie Review


July are going to seen as 2012's slowest month with but two further offerings of message. "The Amazing Spiderman" is speedier than the first starring Andrew Garfield in all-new web adventure. Fuck Off look amazing (excuse the pun)! Seth McFarlane of Family Guy fame launches his live-action feature debut with"Ted". Starting off, children's wish comes true and his teddy bear springs one's. The plot shifts swiftly to the pair as grown ups. Stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.

I did a couple more soft-core films as well as other pores and skin independent films that do not have love scenes within them. Playboy produced back links the steamy films via a company called Mystique Pictures. I also turned down many films. I was willing to compromise using nudity however when I could not use any section of the film to make my reel (a compilation of segments of an actor's work used to give to casting people or to get an agent) than I wouldn't normally do it. Some of these films would only have the character copulating or talking about copulating along with the entire film. That is not usable for a reel. I need at least some substance; some footage that I could actually use to further my work life.

I own the 2-Disc Special Edition of Eaten Alive, the restored and remastered somewhat. The Eaten Alive film can be grainy along with the filming process so primitive it is on screen being very dark and without some detail.

The second installment of "The Expendables" (No.2) sees the entire cast return including Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Jason Statham. Chuck Norris joins set for a little additional star power. Final turnout for August is supernatural thriller "Sinister", starring Ethan Hawke.

Overall I thought this film was very entertaining. I feel it should have garnered point respect that Tobe Hooper's earlier film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre received. Neville Brand was a riot as Judd. I love the bizarre and funny facial expressions he makes throughout Eaten Alive.
