Ratatouille Movie Review
ซีรี่ย์จีน of the more interesting aspects of ratatouille movie is its ability to lift the spirits without pandering to a specific audience. It does not offer false hope or half-hearted escape from the mundane, it simply rekindles a sense of optimism and purpose in its viewers. It is a film that appeals to a universal sense of humanity, humor and pathos, something that all movies for children should be able to do.

It begins with Remy, a sewer rat who dreams of becoming a chef and befriends a human who works at a French restaurant. The rat's efforts to bring new life and inspiration to the restaurant are met with hostility and disdain by the humans, but in the end they learn from him.

The story isn't as profound as some of Pixar's other work, but the animation is still beautiful and vibrant. The scenes of the rat and his friends chopping, peeling, slicing and stirring are delightful to watch. And the moment when Ego tastes the ratatouille, and is instantly transported back to his childhood, is a powerful and moving scene.

What makes ratatouille movie better than most of Disney's other recent work, including the flop Meet the Robinsons, is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. While it certainly does not have the depth of a Shakespearean tragedy or the profundity of a Kafka work, it takes serious issues like individualism, moral courage, and hope seriously. The film also avoids a major flaw of the modern children's movie genre, which is that it treats its audience as intelligent people instead of idiots.

But there are times when the movie takes itself a bit too seriously, particularly in its dialogue. For example, when Skinner pulls Linguini aside and tries to pry out of him the secret of preparing ratatouille, the rat responds with a random harangue about the unappetizing name of the dish.

While this is a rare occurance, it does happen enough to make the movie less fun to watch. Ratatouille is definitely worth the effort of viewing, but it's important to remember that the movie doesn't always work. There are a few plot points that don't quite tie up, and the story is sometimes a little too repetitive.
