Jean-Baptiste joined forces with a women-only group in Haiti to create her crochet bags with 100 100% cotton net, rayon fringe, and leather handles. They can spend up to twelve hours working on one bag.

While red handbags designer of luxury brands are focused on promoting their European heritage, Anima Iris centers African history and culture in its designs. The company donates a part of its profits to help women of color, as well as selling fashionable bags.
