Julia Roberts and George Clooney are bringing their A-list star energy to a film premise that is oh-so-familiar: hated exes pressured to band collectively within the title of saving their daughter. The Oscar winners haven't appeared in a film together since 2016's Money Monster, but they're back to work on Ticket to Paradise (not to mention Ocean's Eleven and Twelve, and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind). It's simple to see why they'd reunite for this rom-com that is full of all of the stuff we love in regards to the genre.

Those with an appetite for sappy scripts and rom-com tropes ought to positively try the newest trailer for Ticket to Paradise, which lands on Oct. 21. Directed by Ol Parker, who cowrote the screenplay with Daniel Pipski, Ticket to Paradise stars Roberts and Clooney as Georgia and David, two high-powered divorcees who can't stand one another but comply with fly to Bali to sabotage their daughter's upcoming nuptials with a person she's solely just met. Naturally, hijinks ensue.

The movie also stars Kaitlyn Dever, Billie Lourd, Maxime Bouttier and Lucas Bravo. It's the primary time Roberts and Clooney have worked collectively since 2016's Money Monster, but the duo are a pure pair. They quibble, sling one-liners and tease one another mercilessly on this trailer and appear to be having a blast hamming it up, even when they're essentially enjoying the identical character again. It's easy to get caught up in the bickering and pratfalls of this atypical household dynamic, especially when they mortify their daughter by dancing to House of Pain's "Jump Around" (which is a enjoyable callback to an earlier scene from the trailer).
