It'd just be nice if some parents would pick those over the nasty ones and maybe... Monitor what their children are watching, specifically the young young ones. And like someone said above, there [i]is[/i] a problem with older audiences taking over the toy industry. It's more profitable to make huge expensive things (although those UCS Lego sets are amazing) for adult collectors that'll pay who knows HOW much for something they're so nostalgic for than it is to make a toy for the age range they made it for. Really frustrating. There should be some kind of balance. Like, I know I'll continue to collect toys and stuff no matter how old I get, but I don't want the toy companies to cater to me. Come on, people, you're adults, make the modifications if you want something to look "edgy and mature" with your grown up paints and tools, or just accept it as it is. Let kids have the same chances you had to even have the same nostalgic experiences.
