The Sandman Netflix Review
When the cosmic being who controls all dreams is captured and held prisoner for more than a century, he must travel across different worlds and timelines to fix the chaos his absence has caused.

The sandman netflix is an adaptation of the comic book series by Neil Gaiman, who also co-developed and executive produced the show with Dave S. Goyer and Allan Heinberg. The series stars Tom Sturridge as Morpheus, the King of Dreams. Heinberg notes that Sturridge auditioned for over 200 roles before landing the part, and he spent six months reading the comic books to prepare for the role.

Like the comics, the TV series leaves a lot for viewers to learn over time, and it does so in a way that doesn't overwhelm newcomers or frustrate fans. This allows the characters to come alive through their actions and dialogue, which is crucial for a show that explores the nature of storytelling itself. It also gives the series a sense of fluidity that helps viewers keep up with its many subplots and parallel universes.
