ObjectPositioning – objectPositioning Unit

This algorithm allows the program to look the same across all screen sizes. Instead of using pixels to position and size objects, it uses the screen dimensions as a percentage.
E.g. This button was dynamically created for the MainActivity form:

The highlighted line is the code that sets the properties of the button. This procedure, btnInit, belongs to the objectPositioning unit and is used to initialise buttons.

The first parameter is the button variable name, the second parameter is the text you want to appear in the button. The third parameter is a float which defines how wide in term of the percentage of the screen width you want to button to be. This means that the width of the button will be 3/10 of the screen width on any screen. The 4th parameter does the same thing as the third but instead denotes the height. The 5th parameter denotes the x position of the button. This one will mean it is centred. The 6th parameter denotes the top value of the object and the last parameter defines the text size for the button.
