Best Movies on Netflix Right Now
With the release of the animated Spider-Verse and a new season of Game of Thrones, there has never been a better time to binge your way through some of Netflix's best movies. From high-brow dramas to sci-fi satire and everything in between, the streaming giant is an ever-growing powerhouse of original filmmaking.

In recent years the company has turned its considerable resources towards producing original films that have amounted to some of cinema's most acclaimed releases of the decade. One of its most significant efforts to date was Beasts of No Nation, Cary Joji Fukunaga's harrowing look at an African civil war through the eyes of a child soldier. The streaming giant has also produced a number of acclaimed period pieces and dramas including Jane Campion's Oscar-winning Top of the Lake, a brilliant depiction of a man's ruthless reign over his family and a land, starring Keira Knightley and Colin Firth.

The neo-noir genre has also enjoyed something of a renaissance on Netflix with the likes of The Killer and AKA: Not Another Love Story proving to be some of the service's finest examples. The latter sees Daniel Craig take on the role of heavily accented sleuth Benoit Blanc to investigate first the death of a reclusive crime writer in his cosy home and then an even more puzzling murder at a private island owned by tech billionaire Miles Bron. Both films are as tense as they are funny and boast some of the year's most compelling performances.

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio have made a name for themselves as one of cinema's most successful pairings. Their latest effort, The Irishman, based on I Heard You Paint Houses is a powerful indictment of toxic wealth culture and boasts a truly outstanding cast including Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and Margot Robbie. It's the latest in a long line of epic gangster flicks from the master, but is a standout in its own right thanks to its superbly judged melancholic tone and tremendous acting turns from its A-list roster.

While the '90s saw many big budget blockbusters dominate cinema, the 21st century has witnessed some of the most accomplished low-budget productions to ever hit the silver screen. With ซีรี่ย์จีน พากย์ไทย จบแล้ว of Zombieland, Splice and the first two installments in Rian Johnson's star-studded Knives Out series proving to be some of the most interesting horror films to come from the indie sector in recent times, it's high time you took a look at some of Netflix's other notable releases in the genre.

While Wes Anderson's stop-motion animation adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox was one of the year's most lauded releases, the filmmaker returned to the renowned children's author's oeuvre with this short film version of Henry Sugar. It may be less sprawling than his previous work, but still offers the same level of wit and intricate design.
