東芝 は上場廃止後の新役員体制について、島田太郎社長は続投し、副社長に 三菱自動車工業 で副社長を務めた池谷光司氏が就く方向で最終調整に入った。近く公表する。複数の関係者が13日、明らかにした。

東芝は20日に上場廃止する。非上場化のタイミングに合わせて、スポンサーのＪＩＰと買収資金を融資した銀行から取締役を受け入れ、アクティビスト対応で混乱した経営体制を組み替えて、早期の企業価値向上を目指す。
池谷氏は三菱ＵＦＪ銀行（旧三菱東京ＵＦＪ銀行）で、審査担当常務や営業担当専務を歴任。2016年に三菱自副社長に就いた。今年６月に退任した後、ＪＩＰに移籍していた。
主力銀行の三井住友銀とみずほ銀は、東芝の主力取引銀行としてＪＩＰに買収資金を融資した。総額１兆2000億円のうち、三井住友銀は約4400億円、みずほ銀が約4000億円を拠出しており、それぞれ役員クラスを派遣することで、東芝の再生の確度を上げる。
島田社長の続投については、日本経済新聞が先に報じていた。
東芝の広報担当の大石達朗氏は、当社から公表したものではないとし、今後の経営体制についてはＪＩＰと協議しており、新体制発足までに決める予定だと述べた。
