เมื่อเดินเข้ามาในตัวพระอุโบสถจะพบกับพระประธานองค์ใหญ่ซ้อนกันสององค์อย่างสวยงาม โดยมี “พระพุทธชินสีห์” ตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้า และ “พระสุวรรณเขต” ที่มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าตั้งอยู่ด้านในอีกที โดยมีความเชื่อกันว่าหากได้สักการะพระพุทธชินสีห์จะเป็นเหมือนการเสริมดวงชะตาให้เจริญรุ่งเรืองขึ้น ทั้งนี้หากใครที่เคยไปแถวบางลำพู คงเห็นพระเจดีย์ที่สวยเด่นเป็นสง่ามาแต่ไกล นั้นก็เพราะภายในวัดมีองค์พระเจดีย์ขนาดใหญ่ที่มีพระพุทธรูป “พระไพรีพินาศ” อยู่บนพระเจดีย์ ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นที่เคารพบูชาของประชาชนทั่วไปเนื่องจากมีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์มาก ๆ ค่ะ หากมาวัดบวรนิเวศวิหารแล้วก็อย่าลืมมาสักการะ “หลวงพ่อดำ” หรือ “พระพุทธปฏิมาทีฆายุมหมงคล” เพื่อให้ชีวิตพบแต่สิ่งดีงามความโชคดีตลอดทั้งปีด้วยนะคะ
