Robotics trainer
I train associates how to safely work with the robotic equipment and also how to physically and virtually fix them
I started palletizing boxes and loading them into trucks on the dock. Then one day there was a need to induct packages, which is the same thing as our robotic inductors called Robins do. I thought they were the coolest thing ever so i asked my manager how i could get involved. It was as easy as him signing me up for the class, and just two weeks later i was fully trained and ready to go onto the floor. I worked as an Amnesty tech for a few months and had fully mastered it. I loved it, and I saw there was an opening for the trainer position. I applied, and here we are!

I love it, because people are so excited to work with the robots. Its something they are excited and proud to go home and tell their families about. the beauty of it is that anyone can do it. a lot of times when we think of robots and technology people feel like they have to have a lot of prior knowledge and experience as well as education. Here that is not true at all. anyone can do it, i have had people who only know a very small amount of english become some of the best amnesty techs we have. they just have to prove to me they can safely use the equipment and naviaget the floor. thats all i care about, safety safety safety.
