In 1995, the first Conference of parties took place on Berlin. After twenty years of progress, it creates a path for reaching net zero emission by 2050. By taking concrete steps to keep temperature below 1.5 degree Celsius by 2030 which was assessed by intergovernmental panel on climate change.
Recently, COP-28 took place in Dubai, UAE, with 197 member countries discoursing their suggestions and upcoming climate actions. The participants include activist, indigenous groups, big and small business, consultancies, traders and media. Despite Lacing of positive outcomes and disappointment, this conference has marked a considerable step forward since the Paris agreement.
