I have decided to write this letter addressing a rule in the school that just does not seem right, keep in mind that I am speaking from the behalf of many students, not only in 7A, but the whole school.
First of all, I would like to say that you are running the school beautifully and helping students build their future wonderfully. However, me and many other students are dissatisfied with a school rule that restricts us to many things. me and many students have agreed that the rule: 'no chewing gum' is very unnecessary and that this rule needs to be adjusted.
Ironically chewing gum can be very good for students and can even improve focus in class. Chewing gum would help us eliminate bad breath, help us focus, protect our teeth from cavities and reducing plaque buildup by saliva production, reduce stress and improve memory by increasing blood flow in the brain. If you please gum can also be used as a privilege, I believe this would push students to be better and it would encourage them to work harder in class and try their best all the time. I do understand that it might be more challenging to allow students to chew gum. nevertheless, it would help students improve and make teaching much easier since everyone wants to be rewarded with the privilege of chewing gum by good behaviour. Certainly, there are a few downsides from being able to chew gum, for instance, chewing too loudly and wrong disposal of gum. Although, all of these issues can be changed and prevented by setting some ground rules for us to obey.
We would all be super pleased if you could give this idea a chance. ultimately, if this does not work out you can always modify the rules.
