After a week-long search involving around one hundred officers, the physique of a forest ranger wished for murder was found hanging from a tree in Buriram. The senior ranger was wanted for firing photographs at his ex-wife’s house, killing the woman’s 20 year previous son.

The ranger fled to a forest near the Dong Yai sanctuary. A court issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of murder, illegal possession of a firearm in a public place, trespassing and theft for stealing the sanctuary’s shotgun and car. A group of officers looked for the ranger for a week before they found the man’s body.
