The cult comic book adaptation from director Jeff Lemire and writer Victor Buono is as weird as it is entertaining. The half-human, half-deer protagonist is a truly unique creation, and this post-apocalyptic fantasy is a lot of fun. Expect myriad mystic powers, a wry sense of humor and some devilishly gruesome horror.
