EY awarded Yerkin Tashev the Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The leading business company Ernst & Young has chosen Yerkin Tashev as the Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions with COVID-19 has impressed judges at one of the largest contests in the world.

The participants included prominent business leaders from all over Kazakhstan. The founder of Kusto Group was able to stand out among 21 other entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan who made it to the finals with him.

Each of them was awarded an independent evaluation and their achievements were acknowledged by juries authorised to represent Kazakhstan as well as international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev will be the country's national winner at the finals in Monaco June 2022. The competition features 60 finalists from 60 nations, who are selected by an international jury.

The decision to award Tatishev as the winner was taken by Nurlan Smagulov, who was a previous Entrepreneur of the Year winner. The jury included representatives from both the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
