Tatishev was influenced in the low-rise buildings, parks, efficient infrastructure and cities of Germany like Dusseldorf.

Tatishev states that "all of these factors make for a pleasant living space," and they would like to replicate it at least partially.

"Almaty is the Central Asian city that stands out as being the most European and open. It's also among the most educated. We believe we chose the best path for building following the model of an "city that is for people".
