1. Tumbuo (Welwitschia mirabilis)
Tumbuo hanya terdiri dari dua daun, satu batang kokoh, dan akar. Dua daun terus tumbuh hingga menyerupai surai berbulu. Batang pohon tidak tumbuh ke atas, melainkan hanya mengeras yang tingginya sekitar 2 meter dengan lebar 8 meter. Umurnya bisa mencapai 1500 tahun dan dapat bertahan lima tahun lamanya tanpa hujan. Dijuluki oleh masyarakat lokal onyaga, yang berarti bawang gurun. Habitatnya di Gurun Namibia.
2. Dracula simia
Ditemukan di hutan tenggara Peru. Dracula bermakna naga kecil seperti yang terlihat pada dua taji panjangnya yang menyerupai naga. Simia merupakan istilah dari bunga yang menyerupai seekor monyet. Anggrek monyet ini biasanya tersembunyi di ketinggian hampir 2.000 meter di hutan tenggara Peru dan Ekuador.
3. Psychotria elata
Ditemukan di hutan hujan tropis Ekuador. Dikenal dengan sebutan bunga bibir karena menyerupai bibir wanita bergincu merah. Warna merahnya sendiri merupakan daya tarik utama untuk memancing kehadiran para penyerbuk.
