1. Mitoz bölünme
eşeyli ve eşeysiz canlılarda görülür. kalıtsal çeşitlilik yoktur. en uzun kızmıinterfazdır. tek hğcrelilerde üremeyi, çok hücrelilerde yaraların iğileşmesin, yenilenmede, büyümede oluşur.
interfaz:
g1 : hücre büyümesi, protein sentezi
s: DNA eşlenmesi
g2: son hazırlıklar yapılır, ( hayvan ise) sentrozom eşlenmesi gerçekleşir.
profaz: çekirdekçik ve hücre zarı yok olur, kromatin iplikler oluşur, kromatitler sıkışıp kalınlaşıp kromozom olurlar.
metafaz: kromozomların en belirgin görüldüğüm yerdir, tek sıra halinde hücrenin ekvatorunda dizilirler.
anafaz: kardeş kromatitler ayrılır ve kromozom sayısı iki katına çıkar.
telofaz: çekirdekçik ve hücre zarı geri gelir ve hücre bölünmeye başlar, iğ iplikleri kaybolur
sitokinez (yani sitoplazma bölünmesi) : eğer hayvan hücresiyse boğumlanır, eğer bitki hücresiyse golgi cisimciğinden ara lamel oluşur.
eşeysiz üreme:
tek ana bireyle gerçekleşebilir ve temelinde mitoz bölünme vardır.
vejetatif üreme : yumru ile, rizom ile, aşılama ile, daldırma ile, doku kültürü ile, çelikle soğanla bitki üretimi ile sürünücü gövde ile üreme çeşitlerini içerir.
bölünerek üreme: amip gibi hücreler bölünür.
tomurcuklanarak üreme: hidra, deniz anası
rejenerasyon: kertenkele (üreme değil yenilenme), deniz yıldızı
sporla üreme: mantar
partenogenez: kertenkele?, arı
2. Mayoz bölünme
sadece 2n kromozomlu hücrelerde gerçekleşir. iki ana bireye ihtiyaç vardır. biri dişi biri erkek. sonucunda n kromozomlu 4 tane hücre oluşur. Mayoz 1 ve Mayoz 2 diye 2 evreden oluşur. sadece 1 kere interfaz olur ve sadece 1 kere DNA kendini eşler, o da S evresidir. kalıtsal çeşitlilik vardır.
