The purpose of this speech is police brutality,police officers are aggressive is because they think that immigrants and other races could be violent, and could harm others. At the moment police officers kill a lot of innocent people. We know that the police officers also protect us and the community, but they also have been killing a lot of innocent people for no reason which is wrong.
A lot of people completely hate police officers because they aren't doing their job if they are harming others for no reason. What I mean is that police officers should focus more in protecting people in our community instead of causing harm for no reason.
If we look at the most recent numbers of non-military US citizens killed by terrorism worldwide, that number is 17. You have a better chance of being killed by a bee sting, or a home repair accident than you do a terrorist. And you are 29 times more likely to be murdered by a cop than a terrorist
The frighteningly high number averages out to three killed per day, or someone killed every eight hours. While there is no government-run database, Killed By Police has taken it upon themselves to keep track, and are doing a fantastic job thus far.
Just to put things into perspective, let’s take a look at the rates at which police in other countries kill their citizens.
Let’s look at our immediate neighbors to the north, Canada. The total number of citizens killed by law enforcement officers in the year 2014, was 14; that is 78 times less people than the US.
Fact: In the first 24 days of 2015, police in the US fatally shot more people than police did in England and Wales, combined, over the past 24 years.
Behind the numbers: According to The Counted, the Guardian’s special project to track every police killing this year, there were 59 fatal police shootings in the US for the days between 1 January and 24 January.
I wonder why at least 1 innocent person gets killed by the police almost each day
I wonder why police officers don’t do their job right as they suppose to.
I wonder why police officers think that immigrants are dangerous for our community
