The Marston House is a antique residence situated in the core of San Diego, first built in 1905. This spectacular residence provides an getaway from the hustle and commotion of city life with its rich nurseries, refined architecture, and sense of old charm.

The Marston House has a vibrant history. It was first commissioned by notable San Diego occupants George Marston and his spouse Anna to fulfill as their private residence. Planned in the Arts and Crafts mode by celebrated local architects Irving Gill and William Hebbard, no spending was skimped to create a property that mirrored the Marston family's enjoyment for beauty as well as dedication to social progress.
Over the decades, The Marston House moved through numerous owners. Luckily previous caretakers had the foresight to preserve the property to save its historic architectural integrity. In 1987, the Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO) attained and restored the residence, transforming it into a cultural center and museum.
Quarters
The Marston House now manages as a historic house museum and happenings venue. Visitors can take interpreter-led tours to watch the property's authentic 20th century Arts and Crafts furnishings and décor. The museum also organizes demonstrations, speeches, workshops and community events year-round that carry San Diego's history to life.
