Dr Bateman
Dr. Bateman has been involved in a variety of clinical research projects. These are ranging from basic research using stable-isotope-labeled peptides, to clinical translational studies of diagnostic and therapeutic Biomarkers for Alzheimer's Disease. She also has been a mentor to more than 20 junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students, many of whom have gone on to their dream medical and scientific careers.
Her area of expertise is the management and assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ASD & ADHD including those with Intellectual Disabilities. She provides comprehensive assessment for specialists using gold standard tools. The assessor advised that Miss Kelly be held against her will. Miss Kelly did not want to be admitted to a facility so she contacted her psychiatrist, Dr Ramanathan Elayaperumal. He was a consultant psychiatrist at the Home Treatment Team of Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
In response to this recommendation In response to this recommendation Home Treatment Team conducted a thorough assessment of Miss Kelly's state of mind and her current functioning. The review included an in-depth medical history and physical examination. The review also included a thorough psychotherapy assessment, a family therapy assessment, and a psychiatric diagnosis interview.
According to the report Miss Kelly suffered from a number of mental health issues, such as bipolar disorder, bulimia, and anorexia. She had also been victimized by her husband and was an addict to drugs. Depression, anxiety, and stress caused her symptoms to worsen. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder as well as the schizoaffective disorder.
Elayaperumal claims Medtronic has discriminated against him because of his race or national origin. He argues that Medtronic's low performance review in June 2000 as well as the inability to give him certain assignments for projects were motivated by national origin or racism animus. However there is no evidence that Medtronic's decisions were based on those factors. Elayaperumal's lower performance score did not result in any reduction in his compensation or benefits.
