situational ethics: what is right and true is determined by each person and each particular

necessarily wrong
Naturalism: everything has a natural explanation
(Philosophical) Materialism: the belief that only material things are real things
Atheism: a denial in the belief of God
Intersectionality: personhood and identity are found at the intersection of a person’s social
oppressions
Gnosticism: an ancient religion that believes that a secret or hidden knowledge is the key to
freedom from the woes of life
