Deskripsi menurut bentuknya,
-Berkulit biru
-Memiliki dua sayap
-Memiliki empat tangan, dua kaki
-Dua antena di kepalanya
Doxy sering di salah pahami sebagai peri, padahal keduanya sangat berbeda. Seperti peri, Doxy berbentuk manusia mini, hanya saja doxy ditutupi rambut hitam tebal dan memiliki sepasang kaki dan lengan extra. Sayap doxy tebal, melengkung, dan mengkilap seperti kumbang. Doxy di temukan di seluruh Eropa bagian selatan dan Amerika. Doxy lebih suka cuaca dingin. Mereka dapat bertelur hingga 5 butir dan menguburkannya. waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk telur doxy menetes adalah 2-3 minggu. doxy punya gigi tajam yang berbisa. Meskipun kecil, hewan ini gigitannya lumayan beresiko. Kita butuh penangkal racun jika terkena gigitan mereka.
