The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves along.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could need. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's a little more expensive than some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
