Click here .Script:                     Color Grading is a useful tool utilized in the post production stage of the filmmaking process as a way to not only change the influence and impact of what the audience is seeing, but also what the audience is feeling.                                    When we watch films, color is one of the first things our brains will notice as color alone conveys a large portion of information to our brains in order for us to determine how to project our feelings toward the emotions being presented to us for the subject at hand.
For example: In this scene from Titanic, the emphasis is placed upon different values of the color blue in order to convey the deep sorrow Rose will carry for the loss of her one true love.                    But blue isn't always saddening. In this scene from The Grand Budapest Hotel, blue is nicely paired with pink in a complimentary color scheme. This gives off a feeling of ... Or this scene from Kill Bill... But you may be wondering, how can one color represent so many different tones? Well this is due to how a colorist chooses a color palette or color scheme. There are many different variations of these schemes however the most frequent ones we see today are: Monochromatic, Complimentary, Adriatic, and...  Even 50 Shades of Grey does this despite it lacking heavily in more important aspects of storytelling.   So by now you get the point, color can change the mood and tone of an entire scene. But how exactly does this process go? Well there are many Software platforms used for color grading, I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro CC but remember that you should use whatever platform fits your needs as a colorist or filmmaker overall. ..
