The only thing that keeps this film from getting the next score is the reality that it feels like it was made for teenagers. It is slightly too gentle and fluffy for the older crowd.

It is definitely worth watching the shazam film if you're a fan of DC motion pictures. The film is enjoyable and has lots of laughs. The humor just isn't soiled or corny and is a good fit for this kind of hero. The actors are all very good and the movie is properly written.
