I believe replacing TL Paul Vadivelu in Risk Ops by someone who is more experienced being a good leader and also a people driven type of leader would help TDCX lessen attrition. Because most of the time, when a leader demotivates subordinates, it creates discomfort and dissatisfaction. And when that demotivation grows bigger and bigger as the day goes by, it would result into bad numbers, whether it be poor attendance or poor metric scores and so on.

Based on my observation, aside from me, majority of my colleagues are affected by this poor leadership and poor management skills being shown by Paul Vadivelu. I often hear my colleagues getting escalated by him. And at some point, I too got this escalation also from him due to my low numbers affected by my learning curve when I got assigned to 3 difficult Verticals (Some Verticals may have at least 5-10 type of reviews and one of my new vertical actually has more than 10) in a span of less than 6 months. This poor analyzing skill of Paul made me think that his position does not fit him well.

I hope the company finds better leaders than the ones that we currently have in TDCX specially in Risk Ops. I worked so hard in this year that my overtime exceeded everyone's expectation and yet even if I was the first one to apply for a leave of absence (5 months ahead of time) I still get a rejected leave because according to Paul Vadivelu, local Indians must be prioritized for the leaves filed in November although it was never part of the rules when applying and approving leave of absence.

Paul Vadivelu's credibility, accountability and integrity is in big question as Team Leader. Someone has to check his overall leadership and management skills because we are all affected by words and actions in the production floor and while we work every day in TDCX.

Please check and replace team leaders that are not fully equipped with the right leadership skills and proper management knowledge.

I believe proper re-training for leaders would give them a little step back at how people should be treated and respected at work and also to create a good space for understanding what the goals of the team and the business are in general.

Team leaders should know very well the tasks and duties of their subordinates but if they only know how to push them instead of encouraging them, then it's going to be a thug of war.

We don't need perfect leaders. We only need leaders that listens and understands how to balance the approach with people. Because at the end of the day, it all boils down to dealing with people. The people working for TDCX needs the business to stay up and running for better salary which goes the same on the other way around, TDCX also need hardworking people to keep their business going. And to do this, everything and everyone should be aligned with this goal. Leaders must be people driven aside from being numbers driven.
