The Bachelor's thesis focuses on investigating politeness conventions in a selected English as for a foreign language textbook. Thoroughly reviewed literature and acquired methods of analysing the collected data, as well as their adequate presentation according to architectonical and stylistic requirements of academic writing will play an important role during the whole process of investigation. In order to fulfill the mentioned objective, the author will use the method of content analysis in the practical part of the thesis.
Cieľom bakalárskej práce je skúmanie zdvorilostných fráz vo vybranej učebnici anglického ako cudzieho jazyka. Študent po preštudovaní odbornej literatúry si osvojí metódy získavania a spracovania jazykových údajov, ako aj spôsob vytvorenia textu podľa architektonických a štylistických požiadaviek vedeckej práce. Za účelom splnenia stanoveného cieľa autor v praktickej časti práce použije metódu obsahovej analýzy.
