Fire Island Movie Review latest
The latest film from writer/director Andrew Ahn, who has turn into a important darling along with his latest films Spa Night and Driveways, is a modern-day take on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice set in the New York hamlet of Fire Island Pines. It’s colorful, digestible and gamely acted by a likable ensemble. And, just like the similarly perky Love, Simon, Fire Island delivers a shallower victory within the struggle for equality..
