In a matter of minutes, Walter Lee Younger Jr. manages to destroy his father’s legacy and all he worked for by partaking in a bad business deal. Gone are his dreams of owning a liquor store, Mama’s faith in him, and Beneatha’s money for school.
Imagine you are Mama. In a three paragraph diary entry to your deceased husband Walter Sr., explain your feelings about everything that has happened recently (this can include the purchase of the new house).
