Culture is largely shaped by geography, by the topographical features of the landscape, the climate, and the natural resources . today I am going to be talking about Mexicos culture and its geography, there are many things about Mexicans culture likes its a hugely diverse domain that encompasses vast differences in identity and there is also different traditions in there culture like El Grito de Dolores ,Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Day of the dead or also known as Día de Muertos, it is one of the most important celebrations in Mexico .It commemorates death as another element of life and as a way to remember and honor loved ones. Day of the dead is observed November 2,when all souls of the dead are believed to return to the world of the living . This is primarily a Mexican tradition however ,other catholic countries also honor the dead on this day. People typically place photos of the deceased at an ofrenda, along with their favorite food and drink. Another part of Mexicos culture is there religion which it is christianity at lest %78 percent is Christian and the rest of the %22 percent of people are catholic.

Some other things is there langue they speak Spanish and some cool things to know about Mexicans cultures is their food. There are many foods in Mexico like tacos burritos guacimaly and others but did you know some of their food has a back story like caesars salad. Let’s go back in time to 1924. Caesar was an Italian immigrant who owned a restaurant in Tijuana (called Caesar’s) to “attract Americans frustrated by Prohibition. ”Over the July 4th weekend, supplies ran low in his kitchen. So he tossed together ingredients he had on hand – romaine, garlic, croutons, Parmesan cheese, eggs, olive oil and Worcestershire sauce.Later, Caesar’s brother, Alex, added anchovies to the mix. And that’s how the Caesar salad came to be . Or like guacamole but did you know that avacodoes were not named avocados one of the most interesting facts about guacamole. It’s this When Aztecs discovered avocados in 500 BC, they named the fruit itahuacatle – which means “testicle.”

The next thing about Mexico is its geography. Mexico is a land of extremes, with high mountains and deep canyons in the center of the country, sweeping deserts in the north, and dense rain forests in the south and east.so its usually hot down there which means the animals down there have be fit to live in the scorching heat and they rainy weathers.
