9 Things Your Parents Teach You About Counter Strike New
Counter Strike New Revealed

Valve finally revealed Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's a major update for CS:GO which will put it on the Source 2 engine.

It also includes responsive smoke grenades and sub-tick updates for servers. It's got plenty of armchair gamers going crazy but it is an enormous improvement for the average player.

Smokes

Counter Strike New has a huge update that will change the way smokes are used in the game. The changes, which are dubbed responsive smokes, will be a game changer. Smokes will expand to fill spaces and move across the map in a variety of ways. They will also react with the lighting in the games, making them look more realistic. In addition to these new features, smokes are now be capable of interfacing with events in the game and will offer new tactical opportunities. Bullets, for instance, will cause smoke to be pushed to temporarily clear the sightlines. Hex grenade blasts can also disperse smoke and occlusion.

Smokes will be more dynamic in the game. Smokes in earlier versions were fixed-shaped objects with a limited ability to move and blocking. However, the new smokes will expand to cover the space they're within and take up more of the player's view when they are within it. This is a major improvement that will make the game more exciting and provide both sides with the same level of visibility.

Smokes will also react to light and weapons as well as the environment in the world space. This makes the smoke appear more real and allow players to use it in a variety of ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. This is especially useful in the chaotic 5v5 matches which are bound to occur on every map.

Smokes won't be one-way which was a major issue in CSGO and allowed players to see their opponents' locations behind the smoke. Twistzz is a popular CS:GO professional who believes the new system will make CS2 more fair for both teams.

Other minor improvements include changing the vertical position of smoke particles to minimize the visibility of edges, and updating viewers' smoke overlay images so that they match their camera's position. Finally, the expiration of smokes was updated to be more in line with the visuals of how they fade on the screen.

Loadouts

CS: GO players can now alter their weapon selection prior the start of each match. The updated loadout system lets players to choose the weapons that best fit their style of play and team strategy. The updated system also adds new tactical depth to the game as players must balance firepower and utility.

The CS: GO Update includes numerous additional improvements and modifications in addition to the new loadouts. The most important is that the buy menu has been completely overhauled. The old buy wheel has been replaced by an adjustable grid that shows all purchase options simultaneously. The grid has been populated with five pistols, five "mid-tier" weapons, such as submachine guns and shotguns and five rifles and carbines.

The new system is easy to use and will give players more control over their weapon selection. They can pick the weapon that best fits their style of play, team tactics and try out various combinations. They can also compare their gear against other players to see how they stack up.

Many players have praised the added flexibility, while some have criticized it for straying from the core essence Counter-Strike. They also expressed concern over how it would impact agents' skins and loadouts specific to the map based upon visibility.

Despite these criticisms, it is important to remember that the new loadout system is still in its infancy and will undergo more extensive testing in the coming months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, so it is vital to stay tuned for more information.

Workshop Tools are also included in the update and can be enabled from the settings menu. This lets community contributors design weapons finishes and stickers, as and maps. The update will also live ban players who violate VAC rules during matches.

The new CS GO update will be released later in the summer. Players can browse the complete list of updates and features by visiting the official CS: GO website.

Sub-Tick Updates

The server updates the world of Counter-Strike in discrete intervals of time known as ticks. Valve is determined to ensure that CS: GO is fast and smooth. Even the tiniest delay can affect the accuracy of an attack. A new video shows one of the game's most significant improvements under the hood, referred to as sub-tick updates.

Instead of a 64-tick-update each millisecond, CS:GO now uses sub-ticks or, as Valve calls it, "micro ticks", to communicate with the servers. Each of these tiny intervals of time will be recorded by the client, and then transmitted to the server, which will then return the updated game state back to players. The servers will be able to tell when you fired a shot or jumped or peeked.

While a minute-long video is not enough to fully explain everything, the video explains that every piece of information sent by a client has an associated time stamp, and that the server will collect all the information from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video it is believed that a CS: GO server will now be able to send up to twice as much information as a 64-tick server.

cs 2 case means that even if the tick rate of the game increased to 128 Hz it will still be able handle your commands immediately. Micro-tick updates can also reduce input lag, making sure that the server responds to your actions without glitches or delays.

cs 2 case opening to the game are only the beginning. Valve is currently implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve how smoke interacts with the environment, and it's updating all maps with high-resolution textures, lighting, and models. Source 2 tools and features will be used to update all CS cosmetics and weapons.

Maps

The upcoming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game along with a few classics that are being given facelifts. The updates are currently being tested in a limited-test beta. The first set includes upgrade and a touchstone map that will not see significant changes to gameplay, while other maps have been completely rebuilt or overhauled using the new Source 2 Tools.

Of these, Overpass has been revamped to take advantage of the engine's new unified lighting system. The map's eerie underpass has been flooded with daylight which makes the area more spacious and less congested. Smoke grenades have expanded dynamically in order to fill spaces and interact with light.

Italy is a different map that has been revamped. Its lighting, texture and structure have been significantly improved. The new version is more balanced than the predecessor that was heavily CT-oriented. In the near future fans can anticipate seeing classics like Aztec and Militia revamped.

While a lot of these maps are available in other modes, they're no longer added to the map pool for competitive play. Train is the only exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't confirmed yet if the other maps that were removed will be reintroduced to the pool.

Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. The newspaper's latest update has been criticized as controversial. The newspaper has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions in Ukraine, and the map is based from the city that was devastated by war in Donetsk. It's titled de_voyna, and includes a variety of references to the conflict.

In the near future the developer will soon be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map creators to make their own maps. This will include features such as improved lighting and character read as well as physical-based rendering that produces realistic materials, textures and reflections. It will also make real-world objects, like doors and windows, simpler to create. The update is set to launch sometime in the summer.
