For our proposed design, the average warning time was 83.75 minutes. We were able to keep the number of minutes for our warning time in the dossier high because. We kept the sensors quite far from Sri Lanka so they would have enough warning time to evacuate first. Secondly, we made sure to not have the sensors so far that it wouldn't catch any tsunamis or else the people would not have time to evacuate. Third we kept the sensors not too close to any tsunamis so it would not cause any false alarms, or the people would not take it at seriously. Forth we made sure to keep them spread out and not too close so we wouldn't have to purchase anymore causing trouble for the people and their schools and roads. Our tsunami warning system design is the optimal choice because of the high time of 83.75 and the supported evidence in the proposal.
