The Most Hilarious Complaints We've Received About Counter Strike New
Counter Strike New Revealed

Valve finally revealed Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's an update to CS:GO that will put the game on the Source 2 engine and make some significant visual changes.

It also introduces sub-tick server update and smoking grenades that are responsive. It's got plenty of casual gamers going wild but it is an enormous upgrade for the regular player.

Smokes

Counter Strike New is getting an overhaul that will fundamentally alter the way smokes are used in the game. These changes are being dubbed as responsive smokes and will be a significant game changer. Smokes will expand to fill in spaces and move around the map to move around objects. They will also react with the lighting in the games, making them appear more real. In addition to these new features, smokes are now be able to interact with events in the game, which will open up new tactical opportunities. For instance, bullets could push smoke to briefly make clear sightlines, while Hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke obstruction.

Smokes will now be more dynamic in the game. Smokes in earlier versions were a fixed object that had a limited ability to move and blocking. The smokes are now able to expand to fill the space they are in and will hinder the player's vision when they are in the area. This is a major upgrade that will make the game more exciting and provide both sides with the same level of visibility.

Smokes will react to the light and weapons as well as the surroundings in the world space. This will make the smoke feel more realistic and allow players to use it in a variety of ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. This will especially be beneficial in the chaotic 5v5 games which are bound to occur on every map.

Smokes will also no longer be one-way that was a major issue in CSGO and allowed players to view their opponents' positions behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional who says the new system makes CS2 more fair for both teams.

Other minor improvements include adjusting the vertical location of smoke particles in order to minimize the possibility of seeing through edges, and also updating the smoke overlay images to reflect their camera's position. The expiration of smokes was adjusted to match the visuals on screen.

Loadouts

The players of CS:GO are able to modify their weapon selection prior to the start of each match. The new loadout system lets players to select weapons that fit their style of play and team's strategies. The new system also adds new tactical depth to the game since players must be able to balance firepower and utility.

The CS: GO Update includes a number additional improvements and modifications in addition to the brand new loadouts. The most important is that the buy menu has been completely overhauled. The old buy wheel has been replaced by a grid that can be customized to show all the purchase options simultaneously. The grid is populated with five pistols as well as five "mid-tier" weapons, such as submachine guns and shotguns, and five carbines and rifles.

The new system is easy to use and gives players more control over their weapon selection. It will let them choose the weapon that best fits their style of play, team tactics and experiment with various combinations. It also allows players to test their skills against other players' loadouts and see how they compare.

Many players have praised the flexibility, while some have criticized it for deviating away from the core essence Counter-Strike. They also expressed concern over how it would impact map-specific loadsouts and agent's skins based upon visibility.

Despite these concerns however, it is important to keep in mind that the new loadout system is in its infancy, and will undergo more extensive testing over the next few months. It is possible that some of these issues will be addressed in future updates, therefore it is important to keep an eye on the site for more information.

Workshop Tools are included in the update and can be turned on from the settings menu. This allows community members to create weapons finishes and stickers as well as maps. The update will also the players who are in violation of the VAC rules in matches.

The latest CS: GO update is set to launch later in the summer. For now, players can browse the complete list of updates and features by visiting the official CS: GO website.

Sub-Tick Updates

The world of Counter-Strike is constantly updated by the server in discrete intervals of time called ticks. The smallest gap between a tick's time and the mouse click of a player may affect the accuracy of a shot, so Valve is doing its best to ensure that CS: GO is fluid and responsive. A new video reveals one of the game's most significant under-the-hood enhancements, also known as sub-tick updates.

Instead of a 64-tick-update each millisecond, CS:GO now uses sub-ticks, or as Valve calls it, "micro ticks", to communicate with the servers. Each of these tiny increments of time will be recorded by the client and transmitted to the server, which will then transmit the latest game state to players. The servers will now know the exact moment you fired your shot, jumped, peeked, and other inputs.

The video doesn't go over everything. However, it does explain that each piece sent by the client has a timestamp and that the server will collect all data in chronological order from all players prior to sending it back. According to the video a CS: GO will be capable of sending twice as much data as a 64-tick CS: GO.

This means that even the tick rate of the game increased to 128 Hz it will still be able to handle your commands immediately. It's not just about increasing the tick rate, as micro-tick updates can reduce latency and input lag by ensuring that the server responds to your actions without delays or glitches.

This is clearly only the beginning of the technical enhancements Valve is making to the game. Valve uses particles and smoke that are dynamic to improve the way smoke interacts with its surroundings. It's also upgrading all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures, and models. All CS cosmetics and weapons will get a facelift with Source 2 tools and features.

Maps

Best cs2 case update for Counter Strike New brings new maps and a few classics that have been updated with facelifts. These updates are currently being tested as part of a limited test beta. The first set of maps includes upgrade and touchstone maps that will see no major changes to gameplay, while others have been completely renovated or redesigned using the latest Source 2 tools.

One of them is Overpass has been revamped to take advantage of the engine's new unified lighting system. The underpass of the map is now flooded with light, making the space more spacious and less congested. Smoke grenades are now expanding dynamically in order to fill spaces, and interact with the light.

Italy is a different map that has been revamped. Its texture, lighting, and structure have all been significantly improved. The new version has a more balanced feel than its predecessor which was heavily CT oriented. In the future fans can expect to see classics like Aztec and Militia redesigned.

These maps will not be added to the map pool for competitive play, even though they are still playable. Train is the exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet decided whether the other maps that were removed from the pool will be reinstated.

One of the most controversial updates is one that was created by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The news organization has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions in Ukraine, and the map draws inspiration from the city that was devastated by war in Donetsk. The map is titled de_voyna and features a number of references to the conflict.

In the near future the developer will be releasing a set Source 2 tools for community map creators to use in their own creations. This will include features such as improved lighting and reading of characters, as well as physical-based rendering systems that produces realistic textures and materials. It will also help in the implementation of real-world items, such as doors and windows. The update will be available sometime this summer.
