The least sensitive body part palm, back of hand, inside of forearm, and The most sensitive areas of skin have a large number of mechanoreceptor. Some parts of the body are more sensitive to touch than others because they have more touch receptors.
precautions 1. they made sure to measure the distance between the toothpick accurately. 2. they made sure the toothpick were securely fastened to the cardboard.
sources of error 1. be careful with the toothpick because u can get a splinter from the toothpick. 2. don't press to hard on the toothpick because it can hurt the skin.
reflection i was curious about the experiment to see which body part was most sensitive. Mothers check the temperature of the baby's bath water, to avoid uncontrolled burns to the baby's skin
conclusion in conclusion different parts of the body are more sensitive to touch than other because of the amount of receptors.
