These are common questions about Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
What do I do when EFT can not work?
When EFT looks like it can not work, the catch is not usually EFT but instead lack of experience with all the technique by the user. Moreover, it is almost always a worry of certainly not having gotten to the center from the problem. This process is an exploration, sometimes a problem unfolds itself in layers like an onion. You can make this technique more productive by thinking about questions for example:
What is in the means of my progress?
What am I not seeing?
What deeper issue have I not found yet?
When EFT relieves pain, will it mask the pain and thwart the capability for pain to signal danger?
No one knows the answer to this definitely. But I have never seen or heard of your case when pain was blocked if it should not are actually. Often pain and swelling is reduced or eliminated but to my knowledge no one has reported the pain sensation being masked.
Why wasn't EFT discovered long ago?
Good question. Even today with all its many successes EFT remains resisted by some inside scientific and medical community. We happen to be taught since grade school that everything in the universe consists of atoms which are made from energy. Therefore everything consists of energy. Everything. It should come as no surprise then that energetic interventions can be so successful. Hopefully one of them days all of the scientific community arrive to simply accept that merely because they do not be aware of it, doesn't imply it is not too.
Why may be the EFT Setup language dedicated to the negative?
This bothers lots of people and bothered me too until I understood it. EFT is just not determined by positive affirmations, rather its purpose is to find rid in the negative making way for the positive. It's kind of like redecorating and you have to pay off the old before there is certainly space for your new. How long perform results last?
