Clue Movie Review particularly
Clue film is a brisk, energetic comedy that gleefully sends up the genre that it is based upon. Its plot is trite, and its characters are stereotypes, but the solid delivers with gleeful enthusiasm. The dialogue is loaded with "Who's on First"-like tongue twisters, genuinely biting traces and lowbrow, knowingly dumb bits that earn simple laughs. The set pieces are stable and the appearing is spirited, especially from the marvelous Timothy Curry as Wadsworth the Butler. Director Jonathan Lynn and author John Landis give the movie a stage-play tone that retains it moving briskly.

The story begins in a gothic mansion the place six individuals have been invited for dinner by Wadsworth the butler and Yvette the maid, along with a seventh visitor, Mr. Boddy, who's been blackmailing the others. The guests are given code names (Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, and Mr. ดูซีรี่ย์จีน ) to protect their identities from the other visitors and the workers. The movie then goes about putting these characters in the identical room collectively and having them strive to determine who killed whom and with what weapon.


While the film tries to keep up a degree of mystery by hiding clues in throwaway lines of dialogue and by throwing in red herrings, the general plot is quite easy and not notably difficult. The movie does have some good acting, notably from Eileen Brennan, Madeline Kahn and Christopher Lloyd. There are also some amusing sight gags, but the plot is not quite strong enough to help all of them.

Probably probably the most attention-grabbing aspect of Clue is its use of a quantity of endings, a gimmick that was a precursor to motion pictures with merchandising tie-ins and, much more importantly, to sequels based upon board games. Essentially, the film has three different endings to it which are distributed in different theaters, and on residence media like DVD or streaming providers like Paramount+, you'll find a way to watch them all in order.

The proven fact that the totally different endings do not actually make a lot difference when it comes to who killed whom makes the gimmick a little less effective, but it's still fun to look at. The multiple endings undoubtedly add to the film's cult status and are one thing that people who watch it's going to in all probability notice and respect, if not essentially perceive..
