NAGISA'S POV
I told her... I would be with her... forever...
Even if forever... was a long... long... long... time...

*So don't take all of the blame, we all were swept away.
So don't take all of the weight, you always do*

"Kayano! Are you okay?" I shook her. She opened her eyes slowly. She replied with her weak voice, "Mmhm... I'm fine..." She closed her eyes slowly. "KAYANO!" "Sorry..." She said slightly smiling. Karma walked in. "She's dying. You're not helping." He said rolling his eyes looking away. I shook my head. "No! She can't fucking die!" I shouted at him. Kayano held my hand close to her chest. "I will eventually...I...can't believe I'm dying... when I'm in middle school..."

*There will always be something you cannot control*

I tapped my pencil repeatedly in class, worried about Kayano. Korosensei realized, but he didn't comment about it. At the end of the day, we walked home by himself to see Kayano. Once he got there, he realized his whole class was surrounding her. Korosensei looked at Nagisa. "...She's dead."

*I'll be there hold on, they'll change you somehow*

"W-wh...at?" She's dead? She's.... DEAD? I trembled in fear. "OUT OF THE WAY." I pushed everyone on the ground and looked at her. "KAYANO KAYANO!" I screeched with tears drenching down my face. Karma touched her. "She's dead." He said glaring at me coldly. "Y-you h..h-ave n-n-no h-heart." I said through tears. Karma walked off. "Whatever you say." I was about to kill him but... "Don't worry about it." Korosensei said petting my shoulder. "He--" "Just don't mention it." He said walking off. "Huh? What does that mean?" Korosensei wiped a tear away. "Nurufufufu." Tears started welling up my eyes again. "I... why did she die instead of me? She..." I fell onto my knees weakly. "...Deserves to live... Kayano..." I started weeping again. Korosensei looked at me with pity.

I went outside after crying for a really long time. My eyes were all red and puffed. I saw Karma leaning against the tree. Wait was he crying??? I ran up to him. "Karma--" He quickly wiped his eyes. "What?" "Were you--" He put his hand over my mouth. "Fucking god. I think that was the first in a long time." He muttered. I nodded. "Do you think Kayano's actually dead?" Karma looked at the tree he was leaning against for some reason. "Beats me. It's hard to know."

KAEDE'S POV
I think.... I'm alive... but.... I'm not.... I can't move... see... but...I can hear Nagisa crying... I want to be with him I want to tell him I'm here..... and everything's okay... but it's not.... I...

NAGISA'S POV
I stood at the edge of the cliff. Karma ran after me. I looked down. "Karma. Did you ever want to kill yourself?" I said staring at the bottom. Karma thought for a second. "Remember in the third episode of the actual anime?" I sighed irritated. "This is a fanfiction for fucks sake Karma stop ruining it!11" I kept staring down. "If it's to be with Kayano..." I slowly walked towards the edge. "Then be it." "NAGISA?!?!?"

I woke up. "Am... I alive still?" "You need to be alive for me." I looked up. "KAYANO? WAS THAT YOU? KAYANO?" I shouted out. Karma ran down when this happened. "Nagisa! You're still alive!" He said panting. I nodded, confused. "I think... I heard Kayano..." Karma tilted his head. "Didn't she die?" I shook my head. "I think... she's still there for me..." I said clenching my fist. "I..." I said as I looked into the skies. "I found the path to her. It's so clear... but... so unfinished..." He looked at me confidently. "I'll finish that path."
