Character: James is an emotionally scarred, sensitive individual. Having led a difficult childhood suffering from an abusive parent, James has grown to be a quiet and timid person. He has a hard outer shell that he uses to cope with the hurt he experienced.

Motivation & Goals: Despite his childhood trauma, James has one great drive in his life: to protect his sister. His sister is the closest person in his life and her well-being is his top priority. James is determined to keep her safe and happy, and makes sure she has everything she needs to lead a full and successful life.


Significant Events: The greatest trauma in James’ life is the abuse from his father. His father had been an alcoholic who physically and mentally abused him. One day his father had crossed a line and taken it too far. James had called the authorities and had his father arrested for his crime. He had made the decision to protect his sister from the same fate and it had become a defining moment in his life.

Relationships: While James struggles to build relationships, his connection with his sister is special. He chose to be there for her through the tough times, whether it be physically, emotionally, or financial. Even though he doesn’t know as much as she does, James continues to look out for his sister’s best interests, which strengthens their bond.

Growth & Change: Through James’ journey, he is learning to trust more and rely on the people in his life. Although he had closed himself off to his painful memories of the past, he is gradually moving forward. He is actively learning to adapt to new environments and build relationships in order to help his sister. He is slowly stepping out of his shell and learning to accept love and kindness.
