Most other circuit boards are constructed of either copper or aluminum, although some companies make special boards made of silver or titanium. While copper is more expensive than most of the others, it is extremely sturdy. Its smooth surface makes it a good choice for wires and components. Copper is more durable than aluminum. Circuit boards made from aluminum usually include more non-conductive components.
