Aww The self-titled era, also known as "The era that everyone loves but Kevin" and while Jhonny still says that it is one of the best periods of the band.
With incredible things from that era like the self-titled debut album (for Johnny, the best angry pistachio album), the ep with B-sides and unreleased recordings (Doodles EP), and the very rare and sought-after (and not worth it to be honest) Demo ep with 5 early versions of songs from the album and given to the public at some of their concerts (Frankenstein vs. Godzilla in Hong Kong). Speaking of concerts, they did some in their magical hometown called Punta Arenas, also some in Puerto Montt and they even went to do one in Argentina! (although it was only because they were on vacation in Chubut and said "why don't we do an ugly concert in this beautiful place?" and that's how that brilliant idea was born).

THE SELF TITLED ALBUM
Jhonny, along with Kevin, worked on the album after they were bored and had nothing to do. Many months before, they had released the well-known and infamous Demo EP (Frankenstein vs. Godzilla in Hong Kong) and it was given to the public at one of their concerts, it was just a CDr written "Angry Pistachio, 5 friendly demos" and below the bandcamp and spacehey (myspace) of the band. Approximately 200 copies of the Demo were made and currently to have one of them in good condition, you have to be lucky and be a great son of a bit.. ANYWAY, after some difficulties, meaningless challenges and wasted hours playing TF2, They had finished recording the album and everything was ready... except for the part of printing it on CDs (Not CDr!!!). Jhonny and Kevin decided to look for outside help to be able to release the physical album, so thanks to a friend who knew about the subject, Angry Pistachio was finally able to release the much-loved self-titled album on beautiful discs.
