Top Gun: The Maverick Movie (DVD) means
More than 30 years after graduating from Top Gun, Navy test pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) still knows how to push the boundaries of human flight. But his conceited perspective is starting to get him in bother with the higher-ups, a reality illustrated when he deliberately drives a new scramjet prototype past its design specs and into the uncharted waters of Mach 10. Now Maverick is being pressured back to fighter weapons school by Air Boss Vice Admiral Beau "Cyclone" Simpson (Jon Hamm) to coach a squadron of younger ace pilots for an impossibly dangerous mission.

Among ซี รี่ ย์ จีน พากย์ไทย สนุกๆ is Rooster Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his late wingman Goose (Anthony Edwards within the unique Top Gun). But Maverick can't seem to earn the respect of his new college students, especially when he's still wracked with guilt over Goose's death and battling a passive-aggressive relationship with Rooster.

Maverick's mission is to destroy a secret underground nuclear plant in a rogue state, an operation that requires the coordination of surface-to-air missiles, GPS jammers, and fifth-generation F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter jets armed with laser-guided bombs. But it is a process that might be made even more difficult by the presence of an unsanctioned Russian TU-95 Bear bomber, which is defended with F-15E/F Super Hornet fighters and Sukhoi Su-25 assault plane.

While the plot is not precisely original, it's fast-paced and exciting, because of Joseph Kosinski's professional direction and a variety of the best actors working at present. The modifying of the motion sequences is especially spectacular, allowing Cruise and his excellent supporting cast to strike just the right tone between banter and drama, thrills and emotion.

What makes the movie work is that it has a strong sense of its personal identity and function. It's not just a rehash of the primary film; it's a movie made for Top Gun fans BY Top Gun fans, and it delivers.

Top Gun: Maverick has some of the most exhilarating, exciting motion scenes of any latest film. But it also has a deeper, extra considerate message to convey, one that's especially relevant to our present political local weather. And the performing, particularly by Teller and Powell, is nothing wanting exceptional. That's why, despite a few of its flaws, this may be a must-see for anybody who has ever been captivated by the flamboyance and hazard of flight. It's a perfect method to kick off the summer time movie season in style..
